From the website:
Budafest is the place to be for holiday fun with the whole family. Join us on Friday night as we kick off the festival with a tree lighting ceremony and a small ornament market. Then come back Saturday to explore all that Budafest has to offer from craft vendors to family-friendly activities like a snow area to a night parade with a firework show.
Walk the festival grounds and behold the the art demonstrations, catch local performers, snag a picture with Santa and say hi to him as he rides down Main St. on the parade fire truck, or walk your dog dressed for the spirit of the holidays in the Reindog Parade--all for free!
There will be plenty of options to spend a little cash either by catching a thrill at the carnival, finding your treasure at the art market, adding your own touch at Santa's Artisan Workshop, or devouring a plate from the food market. No matter what, you are guaranteed to have plenty of Holiday fun!
